This bedroom was designed to feel calm, soft and quietly uplifting - a space that feels welcoming the moment you walk in.
The starting point was the colour palette. Gentle blush tones were layered with warm neutrals to create a room that feels light and restful, while still having enough warmth to feel cosy and lived in. I wanted the space to feel elegant but relaxed, rather than overly styled.
The botanical artwork introduces a sense of nature and movement, while the soft gold frames bring a touch of refinement without overpowering the palette. The classic painted furniture grounds the room and adds a sense of timelessness, something I often try to incorporate so a space feels as though it could evolve naturally over time.
The chest of drawers became the focal point of the room and was styled symmetrically with ceramic lamps to create balance and a gentle evening glow. Placing the mirror behind helps reflect both natural and artificial light, subtly opening up the space and creating more depth within the room.
I always pay close attention to the smaller details when styling a space. The soft florals and delicate pink tones reflected in the mirror bring a quiet layer of texture and warmth that helps the room feel considered rather than staged.
The overall aim was to create a bedroom that feels peaceful, timeless and personal - somewhere that feels both beautiful and comfortable to spend time in.
Designing spaces that feel both elegant and genuinely lived in is always at the heart of my work, and this room captures that balance beautifully.
